Our ChameleonCore pallet cover stands at the forefront of advanced temperature management in cold storage. Constructed from the innovative ChameleonCore insulation material, incorporating a Phase Change Material, this cover acts as a revolutionary thermal shield when enveloping pallets.
It responds dynamically to temperature fluctuations, keeping palletised goods within the desired temperature range in refrigerated warehouses and during transport. This preserves cold chain integrity for sensitive products such as pharmaceuticals and perishable goods, while reducing the reliance on continuous cooling. The covers are versatile, durable and reusable.
We are actively seeking partners in the cold storage sector for testing and trials. Early, small-scale testing and calculations show great promise in dramatically increasing the efficiency of warehouse temperature regulation systems.

Solar Panel Backing
Solar panels lose performance as temperatures rise. This is due to the semiconductor materials in their photovoltaic cells, which become less efficient at conducting electricity as they heat up, reducing the output voltage and overall power of the panels.
To address this challenge, Schmetzer Industries is exploring Phase Change Materials as a passive cooling system for solar panels. Improved panel efficiency means more energy from the same footprint, higher revenue and a better return on investment for solar farm operators, helping make cleaner energy more economically viable.
